Everyday Plumbers – March 2021 Monthly Report

The month of March sees positive results in keyword rankings as well as some areas for improvement in site traffic. We can see a slight dip this month in the total number of site visits from last month’s 89 users to this month’s 81 users, with users coming from organic search results decreasing this month at 33 organic users from last month’s 41 organic users. We’re pleased to see that the SEO campaign brought positive results in keyword rankings, with an increase in the number of keywords found in the top 3 positions and top 4-10 positions of first page search results, as well as keyword ‘emergency plumber Scarborough’ climbing 2 positions this month to 14th position from last month’s 16th position of second page results. We’re currently tracking the ranking of ‘plumber Wembley’ after on-page optimisations for this keyword were completed in March. On-page optimisations will be extended through April as we plan to interlink the SEO location pages with the homepage to ensure that Google is crawling and indexing all pages. With this strategy, we’re optimistic that we’ll be seeing a boost in SEO rankings and a significant increase in site traffic and in turn calls next month.

  • On-page optimisations will be extended through April as we plan to interlink the SEO location pages with the homepage to ensure Google is crawling and indexing all pages. With this approach we expect to see some forward movements in a majority of the SEO rankings and in turn a significant increase in the website traffic next month.

    The month of February starts the SEO campaign off with website traffic reaching a total of 89 users visiting the site at an impressive average time of 4 minutes and 50 seconds spent per visit. 41 of these users came from organic search results which is a great starting point for the SEO campaign, and we do expect to see this number grow significantly once the rankings make their way closer to the first page of Google’s results. Stats for SEO rankings show 4 keywords in the top 3 positions as well as 8 keywords ranking in the top 4-10 positions, both of first page results. Keywords ‘plumber Wembley’, ‘plumber Osborne Park’, ‘plumber Morley’, and ‘emergency plumber Scarborough’ are currently positioned at 46th, 11th, 33rd, 16th ranking this month, respectively. We will be using on-page optimisations through March to boost the ranking of the keyword ‘plumber Wembley’ closer to the first page of search results. Once positioned on this first page, we do expect to see a jump in the overall website traffic and calls for the business.
