Eyewonderlust – May 2021 Monthly Report

Manager

May has been an eventful month for the SEO campaign as we track different dips and wins in the tracked data. We have noted a decrease in overall website traffic with this month amounting to 15.5%, most likely due to the current lockdown in Melbourne. This is further illustrated by the drop in traffic brought in by the organic (SEO) channel from 852 to just 723 organic users this month. In terms of keyword rankings, there has been a minimal decrease in the average SEO ranking as well. Despite maintaining the number of keywords in the top 3 positions, the keywords in the top 4 to 10 positions of Google have gone down. Nevertheless it has been fantastic to see positive movements from our targeted keywords for the month. It has been particularly exciting to find the Chadstone and Glen Waverley keywords rank in the top 1 positions! We aim to boost other focus keywords again by using off-page strategies for the coming month of June.

Eyewonderlust – April 2021 Monthly Report

    Manager

It has been another strong month for the SEO campaign this March as we note a number of notable wins. Unfortunately, there has been a slight dip in overall website traffic worth 8.5% this month. The trend in site traffic throughout April has been somehow stable with minimal fluctuations so we are optimistic to find a more successful set of website data next month by using April’s consistency in SEO performance as a solid springboard for more site visits. The number of users that were brought in by the organic (SEO) channel is 852, making up the majority of overall site traffic which is a win in itself. For keyword rankings, it has been pleasing to see an increase in the average SEO ranking. This can be attributed to the additional keywords that were able to rank both in the top 3 and top 4 to 10 positions of Google search results. At the same time, a number of our below focus keywords have also gone up. A few notable rankings are keyword ‘eyelash extensions Chadstone’ continuing to rank as 1st on Google as well as keyword ‘eyelash extensions Melbourne’ moving up from the third page to the second page of Google this month. All in all, it has been a fulfilling month for the SEO campaign. For the coming month of May, we will focus our efforts on boosting a Prahran focus keyword by using on-page optimisations.
