The month of January has proved to be a little slower than expected for the SEO campaign. There have been numerous dips in the data which we will be using to improve the statistics for the coming month. The overall website traffic has declined by 11.4%. We are urged to strengthen the SEO presence as we see a downward trend in the number of site users by the latter part of January. Although there has also been a drop in the number of organic traffic, the organic (SEO) channel is still responsible for the majority of site visits. The keywords performed steadily during the early part of January however there have been multiple fluctuations by the end of the month. For the targeted keywords, we were able to attain more positive data. For one, keywords “eyelash extensions Chadstone” and “eyelash extensions Glen Waverley” have successfully solidified their rankings in the top 1 position of Google’s search results. The other focused keywords in the campaign continue to sit on the second page of the organic search results. We aim to boost the keywords and websites statistics by the coming month of February by utilising off-page optimisations.
