Eyewonderlust – March 2021 Monthly Report

Manager

The results for the month of March are promising with massive wins for the SEO campaign. To start off, it has been exciting to finally have the decreasing streak in overall site traffic cease for the month as we observe a significant 40.8% increase in traffic. The strong and stable trend of site visits throughout the month also suggests another positive performance for the coming month of April. Another win for the month is seeing the number of organic visitors jump from 732 users to 866 users. This is a solid indication of a stronger SEO presence on Google. It is also wonderful to see a massive increase in the number of keywords ranking in the top 3 and top 4 to 10 positions of organic search results. From 19 keywords in the top 3 and 17 keywords in the top 4-10 positions, they have improved to 26 and 23 keywords respectively. On the other hand, some of the below focus keywords have slightly decreased, with last month’s focus keyword ‘eyelash extensions Melbourne’ performing the opposite of what was expected. Nevertheless, this can be seen as an area of improvement among multiple wins the campaign has had this month. For the coming month of April, our strategy is to shift the focus to keyword ‘microblading Melbourne’ using on-page optimisations.

The month of February has produced a variety of results for the SEO campaign. We can say that it has been a positive month with a few challenges. To start off, there has been another decrease in overall website traffic amounting to 12.0% this month. There were heavy fluctuations in the trend in site visits, indicating the need to strengthen SEO presence to stabilise traffic. This shows us that an area for improvement is increasing organic traffic through achieving improved SEO rankings. There has been a drop in the number of users coming in from the organic (SEO) channel. From 811 users last January, there has been a drop to 732 organic users in February. This is concerning, however it is positive to see that the organic (SEO) channel remains to be the top 1 channel in bringing traffic to the site. On keyword rankings, we are excited to see the campaign boost up the average SEO ranking! There is an increase in the number of keywords both in the top 3 positions and top 4 to 10 positions of Google search results. The targeted keywords are also performing well, with a notable improvement for keyword ‘eyelash extensions Croydon’ which was previously positioned on the second page of Google, now in the top 9th position. We aim to secure all of the below listed focus keywords on the first page of Google by using on-page optimisations for the coming month of March.
