April sees a mixed bag in terms of site performance, although the results are mostly favourable! The site did experience a 34.7% dip in user visits, however we have actually tracked an increase in users arriving through organic (SEO) searches this month than in the previous month, which is promising. The average session duration also increased by a fantastic 62.3%, which means the people visiting the site find its content relevant. For SEO performance, since refocusing our strategy and turning to a more aggressive off-page approach, the site saw a small but welcome 2.4% increase in its average rank. The Byron Bay and Tweed Heads target keywords are maintaining their 11th position rankings, and with our change in strategy we’re optimistic to see these make their movement to the top 10 positions, putting them on the first page of results. This will remain as our focus over the coming weeks for the campaign.
