The last month saw some mixed results from the SEO campaign, although we did note several positives. November did not continue the rise in user visits, instead declining by 46.3%. Still, average session duration increased by 59.8%! Alongside the majority of visitors arriving through organic (SEO) channels, this shows our content is relevant to user searches. Less favourably, we did see a 3.0% dip in the site’s average rank, but we have more keywords now on the first page of Google’s search results. In particular, we now have 20 keywords in the top 3 positions, with 14 of those holding the #1 rank. November saw us focus our optimisations on the ‘landscaping canberra’ target keyword, which now ranks a very pleasing 2nd in search results. December will see us focus on the ‘gardening services canberra’ target keyword since it has a high monthly search volume.
