The SEO campaign for the month of October has seen some strong wins as well as a few slight dips that we will be working on through November. There has been an overall improvement in the rankings of keyword search results, with our boosting bringing in an increase in the number of keywords in the top 3 positions as well as the number of keywords in the top 4-10 positions. The positive results of the targeted keywords continues with the keywords ‘landscaping canberra’ and ‘landscape design canberra’ seeing an upward movement in their rankings in the search results. Keyword ranking strength for ‘garden design canberra’ drops down one ranking from the previous month’s 2nd position to October’s 3rd position, however. There has been a slight 12.3% decrease in website user visits from 350 users the previous month to 307 website users for the month of October, with their visit duration down by 21.7% at 1 minute 26 seconds per visit on the average. Of the 307 website users, 156 of them are from organic search results (SEO traffic) with 147 out of 156 of those users tagged as new users to the site. With this data in mind, we will be conducting an off-page strategy that will be used through November to engage more website visitors and see the ranking for the keyword ‘landscaping canberra’ shift closer to the top 3 positions on the first page of Google results.

The month of August has produced stable results that can be further improved in the coming months. We are pleased to see another increase in overall website traffic worth 11.0%. Throughout the month, the trend for site traffic has been positively consistent so we can expect another positive month ahead. A large number of the website users are still coming in from the organic channel although it was overridden as the top channel for site traffic this month. Our keyword rankings have been heavily fluctuating throughout the month. Although there is a slight dip in the number of keywords ranking in the top 3 positions, we see a notable increase in keywords in the top 4 to 10 results. Our targeted keywords, on the other hand, have all been moving downhill as we see them dropping from their previous positions. We plan to recover from the targeted keywords’ performance by using on-page optimisations for the month of September.
