We have a variety of results for the month of May that we can work with. Our website traffic has gone down by 12.4% with less than half of the users coming from the organic (SEO) search results. However, we have seen an increase in our SEO rankings of 6.7% in the top 3 results. For the rankings of our targeted keywords, we have seen slight improvements that hold potential. The landscaping keywords for Canberra have both moved up one position and we’ve maintained the keyword ‘garden design canberra’ on the first page of Google. We plan to see more improvements in the month of June by using our on-page optimisation strategy to boost our rankings for the ‘landscaping canberra’.

The month of March has produced some interesting results. We have seen a drop in the overall website traffic in particular through the middle of the month, with some large peaks at the start and end of the month. It is likely that due to the restrictions put in place from COVID-19, that the number of people searching for landscaping services has dropped, however it is very pleasing to see that the website traffic has not dropped too significantly. Our SEO rankings have continue to fluctuate over the last 30 days, however we have been able to maintain our page #1 positions for the existing Canberra keywords. This has been very positive and has led to the website traffic still coming to the site in the last 30 days. Over the coming months, we will be working to maintain and push these rankings into better positions on the first page of Google’s results so that we remain in a valuable position through this uncertain time.
