September is a month of small wins for the campaign. Website traffic went up by a smaller margin of 2.7%, but with a fairly steady overall trend. More promisingly, 81.2% of traffic came from organic search users. The site’s average SEO rank did dip slightly, but we have more keywords now in the top 3 spots of Google search results. Moreover, 5 of them hold the #1 spot. In September, we focused on off-page strategies to improve website authority and relevance. In October, we will return to on-page optimisations focused on the ‘landscaping Kingston’ target keyword (currently 6th) to take advantage of its monthly search volume. The aim is to improve its ranking and bring it closer to the #1 spot.

Website performance was more positive for the month of August. Website traffic is back up by 28.9%, with a generally high trend overall. We again see over 80% of site visitors arriving through organic (SEO) channels, which is pleasing to see. Almost all of them were new as well. We saw an increase in keywords in the top 3 spots of Google search results! In August, we focused on-page optimisations on the ‘gardening services Canberra’ keyword, which currently ranks 26th. Our aim is to push it closer to the first page of Google. In September, we will switch to off-page strategies in order to improve the website’s authority and relevance as perceived by both customers and Google.
