March was a positive month as we saw a 46.8% increase in traffic to the website with almost all users coming from organic search. There is currently 1 keyword ranking in the top 4-10 positions on the first page of Google search. During the month of March, the SEO campaign was dedicated to generating fresh SEO location pages that revolved around “emergency dentist” and “teeth whitening”. The primary objective of these new content pages was to reinforce the targeted keywords and locations, ultimately bringing them closer to the top positions on the first page of Google search results, while also encouraging higher customer engagement on the new site.

SEO Analysis

  • 1 keyword ranking in top 4-10 (first page) results
  • Keyword ‘Chinese speaking dentist Moonee Ponds’ is ranking in the 9th position (first page).
  • Keyword ‘Chinese speaking dentist Newport’ is ranking in the 13th position (second page).
  • In March, the SEO campaign focused on creating new SEO location pages about ‘emergency dentist’ and ‘teeth whitening’. The new pages can be viewed here: https://bit.ly/3K9KEoC. The new content pages aim to support target keywords and locations to bring them closer to the first page of Google search results and improve customer actions on the new site.
  • Through April, the SEO on-page optimisation will focus on the keyword ‘childrens dentistry Melbourne’ as it has a high level of competition, significant monthly searches, and has yet to gain a strong footing in the rankings. The goal is to boost its position in Google search results.

    In February we have seen 158 users come to the website with 83 coming from organic SEO. In addition, the initial steps were taken to kick off the SEO campaign. One of the key actions was to remove the most recent listing and update and optimise the old listing for Dr MK Choy on Google Business Profile (formerly Google My Business). This was important to avoid being penalised by Google for having duplicate or conflicting information for businesses in the same industry. Looking ahead to March, the focus will be on implementing more on-page and off-page optimisation strategies to boost the rankings of crucial keywords. The aim is to improve the website’s visibility on Google search results and encourage more customer actions on the new site. Ultimately, the goal is to bring the site closer to the first page of search results.

  • In February, the fundamental first steps in the SEO campaign started. Some of the highlights of the work done are listed below.
  • Submission of the correct local business schema
  • The XML sitemap has been re-submitted to Google
  • Conduct a detailed review of company, competitors, customers
  • A complete audit of the homepage and individual web pages is ongoing
  • Also in February, revisions to the content pages were carried out. Content additions to Payment and Health Funds were created.
  • For Google Business Profile (formerly Google My Business), the most recent listing has been removed. Instead, the old listing for Dr MK Choy has been updated and optimised. Google penalises businesses in the same industry having the same names, addresses and phone numbers.
