October is a strong month for the SEO campaign for both site traffic stats and keyword rankings. We see a fantastic 69.9% leap in user site visits this month at 192 users. We’re pleased to see that 103 of these users are coming from the organic search channel. Keyword rankings are equally impressive as well, with a satisfactory increase in the number of keywords ranking in the top 3 and top 4-10 positions of first page results. Continuing on this positive trend are the keywords ‘childrens dentist hawthorn’ and ‘dentist south yarra’, which are up to 9th and 20th position this month from last month’s 13th and 32nd second position. Capping off the successful SEO campaign is the keyword ‘childrens dentist south yarra’, which is going strong at the top #1 spot of first page results. We’re excited to see positive movements for the keyword ‘dentist elwood’ after on-page optimisations were completed in October. We plan to strengthen our strategy through November with on-page optimisations for the keyword ‘dentist prahran’, as the mentioned keyword also has a significant number of monthly searches.

    April proved to be yet another challenging month for the SEO campaign as we track results that are slower than expected. Unfortunately, there has been another decrease in the overall website traffic with this month amounting to 14%, however it has actually been a win for the campaign to see an increase in the users brought to the website from the organic (SEO) channel despite the drop in overall traffic. Interestingly, the number of organic users has gone up from 69 to 90 this month. This makes up the majority of the site visits, indicating positive growth for the SEO campaign. For keyword rankings, it has been unfortunate for the average SEO ranking to drop by a minimal degree due to some keywords moving downwards from the top 4 to 10 positions of Google search results. Nevertheless, the targeted keywords were able to withstand this decline by continuing to secure their positions. A notable win for the month is seeing keyword ‘dentist south yarra’ move up from the 31st position to the 17th position due to the on-page optimisations within the month. We will be extending this strategy to the keyword ‘dentist camberwell’ in order to boost traffic for the coming month of May as well.

With this approach we would expect to see an increase in website traffic once ranked on the first page of results as there is valuable search volume for this term on a monthly basis.
