November saw ups and downs for the SEO campaign, but with several positives! Following last month’s more favourable results, this month, site traffic declined by 23.4%. The overall trend peaked at several times, however, and ended on a pleasing upward note. Meanwhile, average session duration increased by 65.1%. Alongside a majority of users arriving through organic (SEO) channels, this signals that our content is relevant to user searches. On the other hand, the site’s average rank rose slightly by 1.0%. We did see some keywords drop from the first page of Google’s search results, but 8 of them are still going strong in the #1 position. The keyword ‘dentist south yarra’ is also up three places from last month. In December, we will focus our optimisations on the ‘dentist richmond’ target ranking to take advantage of its high monthly search volume.

SEO Analysis

  • 17 keywords ranking in top 3 (first page) results
  • 30 keywords ranking in top 4-10 (first page) results
  • Keyword ‘childrens dentist south yarra’ is ranking in 1st position (first page)
  • Keyword ‘childrens dentist hawthorn’ ranking in 8th position (first page)
  • Keyword ‘dentist south yarra’ ranking in 17th position (second page), up three notches from 20th position (second page) in the previous month.
  • In November, we completed on-page optimisation with a focus on the keyword ‘dentist prahran’ now ranking in 20th position (second page), up from 22nd position (third page) in the previous month.
  • Through December, we will focus our on-page strategy on the keyword ‘dentist richmond’ to boost its ranking as it also has around 1,600 average monthly searches.
