August is a challenging month for site traffic and keyword rankings as slight dips are experienced on both fronts. First off, there is a 9.8% decrease in user site visits this month as well as 28.4% decrease in the average time spent by each user on the site. Of the 110 user site visits in August, 76 users are from the organic search channel. There are areas of potential for this month’s keyword rankings, with keyword ‘dentist south yarra’ and ‘childrens dentist hawthorn’ going down a few positions this month from their ranking the previous month. There is a slight decrease in the total number of keywords found in the top 3 and top 4-10 positions of first page results. We’re pleased to report however that the keyword ‘childrens dentist camberwell’ is inching closer to the top positions of first page results at 7th position this month, compared to last month’s 8th position. For the month of September, we will use an on-page strategy on our focus keyword ‘dentist south yarra’ to propel it closer to the first page of search results.

The SEO campaign for the month of July yields successful results in keyword rankings. Most noteworthy among this month’s wins is keyword ‘childrens dentist hawthorn’, which made an incredible leap from 83rd position to 10th position of first page results this July. Keywords ‘childrens dentist camberwell’ and ‘dentist south yarra’ also see a jump in rankings to 8th and 26th position, respectively. Site traffic this July is generally steady and maintained well with a 122-user census. We’re looking forward to seeing further upward movements for keyword ‘dentist caulfield’ after on-page optimisations were completed in July for the mentioned keyword. We will be expanding our on-page strategy through August to catapult keyword rankings closer to the first page of search results.
