The month of May has produced a steady set of results for the SEO campaign. We have noted a minimal dip in some of the trackable data in the campaign for the month. Nevertheless, there is plenty of room for improvement as we note a lack of movement in some areas of SEO performance. To start off, there has been an 11.8% decrease in overall website traffic for the month. However, we do not attribute this decline to the SEO campaign because the number of site visits brought in through the organic (SEO) channel remained unchanged from the previous month. At the same time, the average SEO ranking is held steady as the number of keywords ranking both in the top 3 and top 4 to 10 positions were maintained. The targeted keywords continue to secure their rankings within the first page of Google search results. We aim to assert the campaign further for the coming month of June to drive an increase in keyword rankings.

SEO Analysis

  • 2 keywords ranking in top 4-10 (first page) results
  • Keyword ‘buyers agent Hobart’ ranking in 4th position (first page) in organic Google results
  • Keyword ‘buyers agent Hobart’ ranking in 2nd position (in map pack) in Google Maps results
  • Keyword ‘buyers agent Tasmania’ ranking in 8th position (first page) of organic results
  • Through June, we plan to continue our focus on off-page strategy to further boost the rankings for the keywords in the coming weeks.
