The SEO campaign had its ups and downs in May, with a decline in website metrics but a steady performance in terms of SEO rank. User visits went down by 57.8%, although the overall trend was fairly high. 63% of website visitors arrived through organic (SEO) channels, and spent an average of a minute on the website. This signals that our content continues to be relevant to user searches. Meanwhile, the site’s average SEO rank remains steady at 4.0 overall. Google Maps results have been thankfully consistent, with one keyword ranking in the #1 spot. May saw us complete optimisations on the ‘buyers agent Hobart’ target keyword, which presently ranks at #2 in organic Google results. For June, we will focus on the ‘buyers agent Tasmania’ target keyword to improve its ranking on both searches and Maps.
