The month of January has seen a fantastic start to the year for the SEO results. We have seen a 16% increase in the overall website traffic with 127 out of the total 174 website visits coming from organic (SEO) search results. The SEO rankings have been fluctuating as expected and we have seen the Melbourne keywords continue to make progress towards the first page of results. Over the coming month we will be focusing on our on-page strategy in order to see further improvements for the Melbourne keywords, while also staying up to date with Google’s algorithm updates.

  • 11 keyword ranking in top 3 (first page) results
  • 11 keywords ranking in top 4-10 (first page) results
  • Keyword ‘local vet melbourne cbd’ ranking in 19th position (second page)
  • Keyword ‘mobile vet melbourne cbd’ ranking in 4th position (first page)
  • Keyword ‘mobile vet melbourne’ ranking in 16th position (second page)
  • Further on-page optimisations will be completed in the coming month to see further improvements for the Melbourne focused keywords

    November was a great month for SEO! While we have seen a very slight 2% dip in the overall website traffic, it has been impressive to see such a large improvement in the average session duration. This is a great indication that people are spending more time on the website than they were previously. The SEO rankings themselves have continued to maintain their existing positions while also making large movements towards better rankings on the first page of Google’s results!

    SEO Analysis

    The month of November has produced some fantastic numbers for the SEO campaign! We can now see 20 keywords appearing in the top 10 results (first page), with 10 of those actually appearing in the top 3 results on the first page of Google’s results. The keywords ‘mobile vet tullamarine’, ‘local vet tullamarine’ and ‘mobile vet reservoir’ have moved 97, 91 and 90 positions respectively to now be sitting on the first page of Google’s results. Over the coming month we will be continuing with our link building strategy to ensure we can maintain these positions over the Christmas period.
