Immerse Enterprise – October 2020 Monthly Report

The SEO campaign for the month of October has been successful for both website user visits and keyboard rankings. We’re pleased to report that from September’s 453 user visits, there has been a 12.4% increase to 509 users in October, with each site visit lasting an average of 42 seconds. While a drastic drop of 60.6% from the previous month’s 1 minute and 48 seconds site visit duration this could be caused due to the closure banner at the top of the site. Of the 509 website users that visited the website, 324 of them are from organic search results (SEO traffic) with 318 out of 324 of those users tagged as new users to the site. An upward trend can be seen in the keywords ranking in the top 3 of the first page search results with 156 keywords joining the top 3 rankings compared to 151 keywords from the previous month. There was a decrease from September’s 43 keywords joining the top 4-10 rankings when compared to October’s 35 keywords, however. Apart from this, the positive results of the SEO boosting are consistent throughout the board and can be seen in the upward movement of the targeted keywords ‘virtual reality melbourne’, ‘3d modeling sydney’, and ‘artificial intelligence perth’ ranking in 20th, 8th, and 5th positions, respectively. We will continue to strengthen the site’s SEO with an off-page strategy through November to see the ranking for the keyword ‘virtual reality Melbourne’ secure a position on the first page of Google results.

We are pleased to see that the optimisation strategy for the SEO campaign has produced positive movements for the keyword rankings. We do note another slight drop in overall website traffic, this month amounting to a minimal 2.4%. From a previous 343 organic users, we brought in 319 users this September which is a slight dip. However, the optimisations completed in the previous month have been highly effective for the overall SEO rankings! We were able to increase the number of keywords ranking both in the top 3 positions and the top 4 to 10 positions, all found on the first page of Google search results. We were also able to secure keywords ‘3d modeling sydney’ and ‘artificial intelligence perth’ on the first page of results. This has been a massive win for the campaign so we aim to push our other targeted keywords closer to the 1st page of Google this October as well.
