In July we saw much more favourable results for the website and the GMB listing. Website traffic is back up by 18.4%, with a peak towards the end of the month. Over half our users arrived through organic (SEO) channels, and they spent a significant amount of time on the website. SEO performance is improving, with a 1.6% rise in the site’s average rank. The ‘plumbing services Rockingham’ keyword is up 4 places into 17th, going from the third page to the second. For the GMB listing, we see several keywords ahead of the map pack – very promising! The Baldivis GMB listing saw 1,586 total views and 26 phone calls, while the Rockingham listing saw 250 views and 7 calls – metrics that are all higher than the month prior. In July, we created SEO-optimised content for the two GMB listings to gain more service and location relevance. We also completed off-page optimisations to boost search rankings and website authority. For August, we will focus our on-page strategies for the ‘plumber Rockingham’ keyword to bring it closer to the top 10 spots on Google. We will also boost the ‘plumber Rockingham’ and ‘plumber Baldivis’ keywords on GMB location keywords to bring them to the top 3 spots on map pack and improve visitor actions.

Keyword ‘plumbing services Rockingham’ is ranking in the 17th position (second page), up from 21st position (third page) in the previous month.

In July, we focused on off-page optimisation strategy. Our goal was to boost ranking by improving how Google and users perceive the site’s authority, relevance, and trustworthiness.

Through the month of August, our plan is to revisit our on-page optimisation for the high-competition keyword ‘plumber Rockingham’ as it has significant monthly searches. Our aim is to bring it closer to the first page of Google search results.

For the Baldivis GMB listing, we have noted 1,586 total views (up from 1,120 previously), 37 website visits (up from 22 previously), and 26 phone calls made from the GMB listing.
For the Rockingham GMB listing, we have noted 250 total views (up from 143 previously), 4 website visits (up from 2 previously), and 7 direct calls (up from 3 previously) made from the GMB listing.

Additionally, Google has finally rolled out Google Business Profile (GBP) to replace Google My Business (GMB). We expect some changes in the insights and data presentation we use for reporting.
Through August, our focus will continue on boosting the ranking for Baldivis and Rockingham location keywords, in particular using keywords ‘plumber Baldivis’ and ‘plumber Rockingham’. Our strategy aims to bring the related keywords to the top 3 positions (the map pack) in Google Maps results and improve visitor actions.
