We’ve noted several positives in the SEO campaign after kicking off in November. User traffic dropped slightly by 7.3%, but average session duration rose by a fantastic 63.3%. Organic users also made up a majority of site visitors, meaning our content is very relevant to our users. SEO ranking dropped by a marginal 4.7%, but we’ve sustained our keywords on the first page of Google, which is pleasing to see. GMB performance has been similarly optimistic, with several keywords ranking in the top 10 spots. In November, we created SEO-optimised content for the Baldivis GMB listing to gain more relevance and security. Through December, we will in turn focus on the Rockingham location keywords – particularly for ‘plumber Rockingham’. We aim to see the relevant keywords move closer to the top 3 positions in Google Maps results.

SEO Analysis

  • We are seeing a strong start for the SEO campaign as we note solid data across the board for the month of November
  • 2 keywords ranking in top 4-10 (first page) results
  • Keyword ‘blocked drains Baldivis’ is ranking in the 5th position (first page)
  • Keyword ‘blocked drains Rockingham’ is ranking in the 8th position (first page)
  • Keyword ‘plumber Baldivis’ is ranking in the 17th position (second page)
  • Keyword ‘plumbing services Rockingham’ is ranking in the 34th position (fourth page)
  • Starting in December, we will be expanding our strategy to boost keywords related to ‘plumber Baldivis’ and ‘plumber Rockingham’ as these high-competition keywords have significant average monthly searches and they have yet to secure solid rankings in the organic search results.

  • Keyword ‘plumber Baldivis’ ranking in 2nd position in Google Maps (in the map pack).
  • Keyword ‘blocked drains Rockingham’ ranking in 5th position in Google Maps.
  • Keyword ‘blocked drains Baldivis’ ranking in 1st position in Google Maps (in the map pack).
  • Keyword ‘plumber Rockingham’ ranking in 13th position in Google Maps.
  • For the ‘plumber Baldivis’ GMB listing, we have noted 1,090 total views, 12 phone calls, 2 direct messages, and 20 website visits.
  • For the ‘plumber Rockingham’ GMB listing, we have noted 229 total views along with 4 phone calls.

  • Additionally, we were able to create and post SEO optimised content for the Rockingham GMB listing in order to gain more service and location relevance with Google. The post can be viewed here:https://bit.ly/3ntrDDO.
  • Through December, our focus will be on further boosting the ranking for the Rockingham location keywords, in particular ‘plumber Rockingham’. We will carry out our off-page strategy for the Rockingham listing to ensure we can see the related keywords make their way closer to the top 3 positions (the map pack) in Google Maps results and improve visitor actions.
