The campaigns experienced some challenges in October. Website traffic did not continue the previous month’s more positive trend, instead slipping by a small percentage. There was a notable spike of 19 users on 09 October 2022, but the overall trend was up and down – although the month did end on an upward note. More promisingly, 58% of users arrived through organic search channels, and almost all of them were new. In terms of SEO, the site’s average SEO rank also saw a marginal dip, but keyword performance has held steady. The Google Business Profile generated slightly fewer views than the previous month, but the Rockingham GBP listing saw increased views and 4 phone calls – a more positive showing. In October, we published a new service page for the ‘pipe relining Perth’ keyword alongside a new blog post. We also posted SEO content for the GBP listing to gain more relevance. In November, we will focus on off-page SEO strategies to improve Google Maps rankings. We also aim to boost the ‘pipe relining Perth’ keyword to see its ranking move closer to the top 3 spots of Google search results.

There were several positive metrics in the month of September, with limited challenges. Website traffic again went up, although by a smaller margin of 9.4%. The average session duration is up to well over 3 minutes, with organic search users spending close to 2 minutes on the website. Of our total website traffic, 71.4% came through organic (SEO) channels. The site’s average SEO rank did again fall by a small margin, but we have more keywords now on the first page of Google search results! The Google Business Profile (GBP, formerly Google My Business) also saw highs and lows. The campaign saw slightly fewer views compared to last month, but more website visits and 28 phone calls from the listing. In September, the SEO campaign focused on off-page strategies to improve website authority and relevance. We also published SEO-optimised content for the GBP listing to gain location relevance. This October, we will add a new keyword ‘pipe relining’ and create a content page for this new service. We will also focus on boosting the Baldivis and Rockingham location keywords so we can boost the ‘plumber Baldivis’ and ‘blocked drains Rockingham’ keywords into the top 3 positions of the map pack.
