The campaign experienced some setbacks in the month of June, although SEO results have been favourable. Website traffic went back down, this time by 37.7%, and the overall trend was inconsistent. We did see a peak on 16 June of 8 users on the website, with 6 of them new. Of the total user visits, 52.6% of them arrived through organic (SEO) channels, and almost all of them were new. Average session duration also remains high, at almost 3 minutes total. We’ve sustained keyword performance, with the ‘plumber Baldivis’ target keyword in 9th – up slightly from its previous position of 12th. This puts it on the first page of Google search results, which is pleasing to see. For the GMB listing, we noted a small decrease in total views and website visits, but more phone calls. In June, we created optimised content for the Baldivis and Rockingham listings to gain more service and location relevance. We also optimised the ‘plumber Rockingham’ target keyword, which currently ranks 19th in organic search results. Through July, we will focus off-page strategies on boosting organic rankings, as well as the GMB rankings for the ‘plumber Baldivis’ and ‘plumber Rockingham; keywords so they move into the top 3 spots of map packs.

We’ve seen favourable results for the month of May for site metrics and SEO. Website traffic is back up by 50.6%, and the month ended very strongly. 59% of site visitors arrived through organic (SEO) channels – 72 total, with 69 of them new. Meanwhile, the site’s average rank saw a small but welcome 1.0% rise. However, we did lose some keywords in the top 10 spots of Google search results. On the other hand, we saw some pleasing keyword movement – the ‘leak detection rockingham’ target keyword is up to 7th from its previous position of 19th! For GMB Analysis, we’ve seen an increase in total views for the Baldivis and Rockingham listings. We also had more site visits and phone calls. In May, we created an SEO optimised content for the Rockingham GMB listing. Through June, we will continue optimisations for keywords in these listings to improve visitor actions.
