April sees mixed results, but with some favourable metrics. User visits dropped by 17.3%, but saw a notable peak on 19 April. More pleasing is that organic (SEO) users make up half of site visits, and spent over 4 minutes on the website. In fact, average session duration remains over 4 minutes total. Meanwhile, we saw a small but welcome 0.9% rise in the site’s average SEO ranking. There was also a 33.3% increase in the number of keywords on the first page of search results. GMB performance remains steady, with the ‘blocked drains baldivis’ target keyword ranking 1st on the map pack. April saw us create optimised content for the Rockingham and Baldivis GMB listings to gain more service and location relevance. This May, we will continue our off-page strategies for the Baldivis and Rockingham location keywords to bring keywords such as ‘plumber baldivis’ and ‘plumber rockingham’ into the top 3 spots.

February sees mixed results for the SEO campaign, although there are positives! User visits again increased, this time by 4.7%, with an overall trend that saw several peaks. Around half of these users arrived through organic (SEO) channels – 41 in total, with 38 new. We did see a slight dip in the site’s average rank, but keyword performance has remained steady. In February, we focused on-page optimisations on the ‘hot water system rockingham’ target keyword, which will hopefully see an improvement in search rankings. March will see us focus our strategies on the ‘gas plumber rockingham’ target keyword to take advantage of monthly search volume.
