It has been a successful month for both the SEO and Google Ads campaign this August. Although, to start there was a 4.6% decrease in overall website traffic for the month. This is evident in both the organic (SEO) and CPC channels. Nevertheless, it has been fantastic to see an improvement in the average SEO ranking as one of the keywords moved up to the top 3 positions of Google search results. The targeted keywords have been performing strongly as they continue to secure their rankings on the first page of Google. We aim to assert both on-page and off-page optimisations this coming month of September to boost these focus keywords. For the Google Ads campaign, there has unfortunately been a 14% decrease in the number of clicks. However, we were able to improve the CTR by a significant 30.4%, putting the click through rate at a strong 15%. The number of conversions is at 3 which is half of the previous month. We will look to correct this during September as we increase ad relevance and, consequently, quality traffic.

  • 0.4% Conversion rate
  • August has been successful for the google ads campaign. We were able to increase the CTR by 30.4% which is definitely a great win.
  • However, we have noted that the overall traffic and conversions are lower compared to the previous month of July.
  • With that being said, the plan for September is to add more negative keywords to increase ad relevance which can lead to better traffic and higher quality clicks.
