Laguna Real Estate – May 2021 Monthly Report

The month of May has produced a slower set of data for both the SEO and Google Ads campaign. This illustrates room for improvement in both of these campaigns. To start, there has unfortunately been a 21% decrease in overall website traffic. This can be attributed to dips in site visitors brought in by the organic (SEO) and CPC channels. Driving more traffic will definitely be one of the objectives for the coming month of June. For the SEO campaign, the average SEO rankings has gone down this month as keywords drop from their previous rankings. This includes the performance of many of the campaign’s targeted keywords. We have noted the keyword ‘Noosa real estate agent’ drop down from the top 1 position to the 4th on Google search results (still on the first page of results). We aim to boost these rankings for the coming month by utilising on-page optimisations. On the Google Ads front, although the numbers that are currently on the board aren’t necessarily negative for the campaign, they are still lacking in comparison to the previous month. This is evident in the decrease of clicks, impressions, CTR, and conversion rate. We will be changing the ad copies for the coming month of June in order to boost these data, at a (ideally) lower cost.

  • Through the month of June, we will shift our focus to the off-page strategy to ensure we can see some boosts in the organic rankings in the top 3 results.
  • Google Ads Analysis

  • 10 Conversions
  • 732 Clicks
  • 10.6% CTR
  • 1.4% Conversion rate
  • However, we have noted the campaign’s stats are lower across the board compared to the previous month.
  • With that being said, we will structure the campaign to encourage consistency in the number of conversions along with the way, which will allow us to see conversions achieved each week during the month. We would also look into optimising the ad copies approach to encourage an increase in both the overall traffic and CTR

    October has been a fantastic month for both the SEO and Google Ads campaigns as we record multiple wins across the board. To start, there has been a 12.6% increase in overall site traffic for the month and we are able to see this improvement in both the organic and CPC channels. Organic traffic has reached 4056 users and the site visits from the CPC channel has almost doubled in number from 242 to 474 users! For the SEO campaign, we were able to maintain the average SEO ranking and the targeted keywords continue to secure their positions on the first page of Google. Keyword ‘Noosa Heads real estate’ has moved up from the 13th position to the 12th. We will work on both on-page and off-page strategies to boost more targeted keywords. The Google Ads campaign has been a massive success this past month as we note a significant 95.9% increase in impressions, partnered by a 125.2% increase in number of clicks. This puts the CTR at 16.9%, a whole 15% higher than the previous month. At the same time, we were also able to secure more conversions this month! Our only concern so far is the decrease in conversion rate which we will address by optimising the ad copy for the month of November.

  • In October, we completed on-page optimisation with a focus on the keyword ‘Noosa Heads real estate’ and we expect further movement in its ranking in the coming weeks.
  • Through the month of November, we plan to focus our on-page and off-page strategy on the keyword ‘Noosaville real estate’ to further boost its organic ranking in Google search results.

  • 16.87% CTR
  • 1.42% Conversion rate
  • October has been really good for the Google Ads campaign. We have seen an increase in traffic and conversions. This was mainly due to being able to reduce the avg. CPC from $1.22 to $0.54, which allowed us to reach more searchers. Cost per conversion has been better as well compared to last month. This is due to the highly relevant search terms that the campaign generated over the course of the month.
  • However, we have noted the decrease in overall conversion rate.
  • With that being said, the plan for November is to optimize the ad copy to improve relevance and avoid any disconnect with the landing page as it would really help with setting the searcher’s expectation on the landing page based on the ad.
