Taking off from January’s stats, we’re starting the year with some areas for growth and potential. There was a slight -0.4% dip in January’s website traffic from last month’s 1,535 users visiting the website to this month’s 1,529 users, with each user spending an average of 53 seconds this month per site visit. Of the 1,529 users who visited the website, 319 are from organic search results, with 283 of these users tagged as new users to the website this month, compared to last month’s 324 new users. The month of January sees Sydney users dominating the census of website users at the top spot, followed closely by users from Brisbane and Melbourne. SEO rankings for this month have seen a slight dip as well from the rankings achieved at the end of 2020 for the targeted keywords ‘ent supplies’, ‘patient warmer’, and ‘hospital curtains’, which rank in the 8th, 19th, and 22nd position this month, respectively. While there was a slight decrease in the number of keywords ranking in the top 4-10 positions of first page results from last November’s 11 keywords to this month’s 6 keywords, we’re pleased to report that 2 keywords are going strong this month while holding on to the top 3 positions of first page results. We’re optimistic that we can boost the stats for the coming month by securing an editorial spot in February to see ‘patient warmer’ bounce back up towards the first page of Google’s results.
