The results produced for the month of August conclude to a strong and present SEO campaign. We do note a concerning drop in website traffic this month amounting to a 53.9% decline, however it seems the majority of this drop in traffic has come from the cpc channel, not organic (SEO) channel. We do however consider the slight drop in organic users a downward trend that we will focus on in the coming month. Now the new website is live for Lateral Medical, we will spend some time through September and the coming months making optimisations on the site to ensure our rankings maintain and push further up Google’s results. This month we were able to improve the overall SEO keyword rankings by maintaining some of focus rankings in the top 3 positions and increasing the keywords we have in the top 4 to 10 results. Our focus keyword rankings have performed splendidly by moving up and securing their ranks all on the first page of Google search results.

We are pleased to report that the month of July has produced positive results after a decline in output for the previous month. We were able to turn the trend of our overall website traffic with a 17.8% increase, a stable step in recovering from June and May’s site visits. We were also able to recover the number of keywords ranking in the top 3 positions of Google with a slight increase. Consequently, this affected the number of keywords we have in the top 4 to 10 results. Despite having two of the targeted keywords drop 1 position from their previous ranking, the remaining focus keywords are consistent on the first and second page of Google. We’re also seeing pleasing progress with keyword ‘patient warmer’ as it moved up from the 14th to the 11th position this July. We plan to focus on this for the upcoming month of August by utilising both on-page and off-page optimisations in order to secure an increase in first page rankings on Google’s search results.
