Lateral Medical – June 2020 Monthly Report
Manager
The results for the month of June continue the trend from the previous month’s decline with some small SEO developments and wins. Unfortunately, the decrease in overall website traffic from the previous months are still prevalent this June. However, we are hopeful that this will rise for July since an upward slope began towards the end of the month. The number of keywords ranking in the top 3 positions has gone down by 8.3% but this is easily balanced out by a notable 18.2% rise in SEO rankings on the first page of Google. Our targeted keywords have seen a variety of movements both up and down in the rankings as two of the keywords secured positions within the top 3 and the keyword “patient warmer” fell to the 14th position. On a more positive note, we do see significant potential in the coming month due to the positive slopes in traffic and SEO rankings. Our strategy for the month of July is to utilise on-page as well as off-page optimisations as we aim to boost the keyword “patient warmer” back up to the first page of search results.

The month of May has varying results with stagnant SEO rankings but a solid win for one of our targeted keywords. We have seen another dip in website traffic at 21.7% and a downward slope for this number by the latter part of the month. On a positive note, we have maintained the number of keywords we have ranking in the top 3 and top 4-10 positions. Our keyword rankings fluctuated throughout the month. The keyword “ent supplies” has fallen back to the 4th position from its previous rank within the top 3. A win achieved through the month was seeing the keyword ‘patient warmer’ move from the 29th position into the second page of results ranking at 11th. We have maintained the keyword ‘hospital curtains’ at the top 3. Our goal for June is to make use of on-page optimisations to improve our rankings for the targeted keywords as well as move the keyword ‘patient warmer’ within the first page of Google.
