The month of March has produced an interesting month overall with some positives. We have seen a dip in the overall website traffic, in particular towards the second half of the month. This is likely due to the current situation in the world due to COVID-19, however it was pleasing to see the website traffic pick up slightly towards the end of the month. It seems this was a similar trend for the conversions in the Google Ads campaign with the number of conversions dipping from 26th March onwards. However, we have seen the average CPC drop significantly in the last 2 weeks as well which is great news for the campaign. Over the coming months we will continue to optimise the campaign to ensure we are remaining in a good position during this challenging time. We will be keeping an eye on the trends of both the website traffic and conversions to ensure we are not seeing any major down times.

Google Ads Analysis

  • The Google Ads campaign has performed very well through the month of March. The number of conversions from only the search campaigns is at 40 total conversions for the month and our CTR is at 9.46% with a cost per conversion of $105.47. These numbers are fantastic to see.
  • However, the shopping campaigns are not performing as well as the search campaigns. This could be due to the current situation in the world and is something we will be monitoring over the coming weeks.
  • Our plan for the month of April is to continue optimising both the search campaigns and shopping campaigns seperately to ensure they are each performing at their highest standard
