In April we again saw both positive results and setbacks. User visits again went up, this time by 70.7% – and things peaked on 28–29 April, with a high of 98 site visits in total! We again saw a notable number of these users arrive through organic (SEO) channels, with almost all of them new. Average session duration went up by 83.3% to sit well over 5 minutes – very pleasing to see. The GMB listing saw a 112% increase in total views, with a total of 20 visits through Google Maps. In May we will focus on the ‘website hosting sunshine coast’ target keyword to gain traction in GMB rankings. In terms of SEO, we did see a drop by 10.3% in the site’s average rank. We sustained our keywords on the first page of Google search results, however, which is a favourable sight. April saw us complete on-page optimisations focusing on the aforementioned website hosting keyword, and we expect its ranking to move in the coming weeks. This May, we will now focus on the ‘budget web design sunshine coast’ target keyword, which presently ranks in 37th. We aim to improve its rank on Google.
