The month of July has produced a strong and positive set of results for the SEO campaign. We are pleased to see an increase in overall website traffic as it currently sits in 270 users for the month. The majority of these users were brought in by the organic (SEO) channel which is a plus for the campaign. Two keywords are currently ranking on the first page of Google search results which can be found within the top 4 to 10 positions. The targeted keywords are currently at rankings that can still be improved for the coming months, and now that Google has crawled the new SEO pages we expect to see some significant ranking movements over the coming months. We use this as the base point for our strategy in the coming month of August. We aim to assert our on-page strategy further in order to set a solid foundation in driving higher rankings for the campaign.

Unfortunately, the results produced for the SEO campaign this September have been lower than expected and continue the decline from the previous month. The overall website traffic has gone down by only a small difference. However, the number of organic users has dropped from 68 last month to just 57 this month. This is a considerable number of site visits relative to the total number of site visits. For the targeted keywords, we are pleased to see keyword ‘marketing consultant Sunshine Coast’ move up to the third page of Google from last month’s 33rd position. We aim to secure higher rankings for the coming month of November by utilising an on-page strategy for our focus keywords, ‘web design sunshine coast’.
