April has shown fantastic results across the board! While we have seen a drop in the overall website traffic, it is positive to see that both Paid Search and Organic Search are the largest contributors to this traffic. As the SEO Rankings continue to improve over the coming months, we do also expect the total number of users coming to the site increasing. The Google Ads campaign has also been extremely positive with 26 conversions at a lower cost per conversion. We will continue to monitor and optimise the campaign to ensure these results continue over the month of May.
SEO Analysis
The month of April has seen some outstanding results for SEO! We have seen the total number of terms appearing in the top 10 positions (first page) on Google increased from 25 in March to 42 in April, and the total number of terms appearing in the top 3 positions increase from 7 in March to 14 in April. Some terms in particular that have seen great improvements include ‘log book services welshpool’, ‘log book services forrestfield’ and ‘mechanic welshpool’. Over the coming month, we will continue with our off page strategy in order to see this trend of results continuing into May.
AdWords Analysis
The performance of the Google Ads campaign for the month of April has been successful. We saw an increase in CTR (3.4%), Conversions (18.2%) and Conversion Rate (27.4%). We also managed to lower down the cost/conversion by 13.4%. Overall, this kind of performance is what we want to bring for the following month as well. We would also want to structure the campaign to get an increase in CTR.
