April has shown a great month of results across the board! We have seen a slight increase in website traffic despite the dip we saw over the Easter period. The SEO rankings are continuing to make steady improvements and we have also been able to defend the rankings we have already achieved. In terms of the Google Ads campaign, we have seen a drop in the total number of conversions, however we did see an increase in the impressions and clicks. For the month of May we will be focusing on turning these clicks into conversions as well.
SEO Analysis
The month of April has been another outstanding month of results! We have seen the total number of search terms appearing in the top 3 positions on Google increase from 83 in March to 86 in April. Some terms that saw great movement in particular include ‘roller door accessories lytton’ and ‘roller door accessories archerfield’ which are now both sitting in the number 1 position on Google. We will continue with our off page strategy in order to see this trend of results continue for the month of May.
AdWords Analysis
The performance of the Google Ads campaign has been steady. We managed to increase the traffic as we have more Clicks (36.5%) and Impressions (84.7%) compared to the previous month. It looks as though the Easter period may have contributed to the campaign slowing down as we did see the conversions pick back up only towards the end of the month. The positive about this is we can carry the momentum for the month of May. Now the plan for May is to structure the campaign to drive an increase in CTR and potentially lead to more conversions.
