August has been a month with some ups and downs when looking at the numbers. We have seen a small dip in the website traffic and it actually looks like our website tracking code has been removed. We have since reinstalled this on the site, but it does mean that the end of the month is not actually trackable. We should be able to see an improved analysis of website traffic in the coming month once our tracking is performing correctly again. In terms of the SEO rankings, these are continuing to make some positive movements. We have seen some dips for the Byron Bay terms while we have seen some massive improvements with other search terms. With these fluctuations, we will be using our off page strategy to see more movements in the direction we want (towards the first page on Google) throughout September.
SEO Analysis
The month of August has been a pleasing month of SEO numbers. We can now see 24 terms appearing in the top 10 results (first page) on Google, with 11 of those terms appearing in the top 3 positions on the first page of Google’s results. The terms that have seen significant improvements over the last 30 days include ‘roof cleaning tyagarah’, ‘pressure cleaning eltham’ and ‘roof cleaning ocean shores’ which have jumped 93, 72 and 34 positions respectively. We have been continuing with our off page strategy in order to boost the overall rankings towards the first page on Google. We will continue with this approach in September with our goal being 28 terms appearing in the top 10 results by the end of the month.
