May brings ups and downs for the campaign, although we did note several positives. We again saw an increase in site visitors, up 19.9%, with several peaks near the end of the month. 40.7% of site visits came through organic (SEO) channels, with all but 2 of them new. Average session duration did decrease, but it still remains well over a minute. Meanwhile, SEO performance saw a small dip as the site’s average rank went down by 4.6%. However, we saw a favourable increase in keyword performance – we now have 54 in the top 3 positions, with 20 holding the #1 spot! Well over half our keywords now rank on the first page of Google search results. The ‘mechanic Bedford’ target keyword performed notably well, up to 25th after being unranked, following our optimisations. For June, we will focus on-page strategies on the ‘car service Westminster’ keyword as a targeted location. We aim to bring it closer to the top 10 positions.
