August is a month of small but welcome wins for the website and the SEO campaign. User traffic again increased, although by a more modest amount – 4.6%. The overall trend was up-and-down, but peaked several times and ended on an upward note. 71% of total website traffic came from organic search users, who spent almost 6 minutes on the website. Meanwhile, the site’s average SEO rank has bounced back, and keyword performance has been mostly stable. A large majority of keywords are on the first page of Google search results, which is very favourable. One notable keyword is ‘acoustic soundproofing and insulation Bellevue Hill’, which now ranks 2nd (up from 8th). In August, we focused on-page strategies on the ‘acoustic soundproofing and insulation Sydney’ keyword to push it closer to the top 10 spots. This September, we will switch to off-page strategies to boost the website’s authority and relevance as perceived by both Google and site users.

July brought much more positive results for the website metrics than we saw for SEO performance. Site traffic continues to trend upwards, growing by 31.0%! The overall trend also saw a promising upward trend. We also sustained our average session duration. More favourably, we saw a similar percentage of users coming through organic (SEO) channels as the month prior. On the other hand, SEO performance did see another small drop of 1.2% in the site’s average rank. We lost some keywords in the top 3 positions on Google search results, but a favourable number remain on the first page. After our optimisations, we now see the ‘water damage plaster’ keyword ranking in 1st (up 5 positions), while ‘plastering services Rose Bay’ now ranks 8th (up 4 positions). In July, we focused on off-page strategies to boost search rankings and improve website authority. In August, we will switch to on-page optimisations on the ‘acoustic soundproofing and insulation Sydney’ keyword. It has a significant monthly search volume and is highly competitive. We aim to bring it closer to the top 10 positions on Google.
