The month of February has seen a slower month overall, with some large wins throughout. While we have seen a dip in the overall website traffic, it has been positive to see that the traffic that did find the website has spent an increase amount of time on the site. The average session duration is now sitting at just over 2 minutes which is a great indication that the content on the website is relevant to what people are searching for. A huge win we saw for the month was seeing the number of keywords appearing on the first page of results and in the top 3 positions increase by 4. As we continue to pour our focus into the Wollongong keywords, we should expect that the website traffic will increase as the keywords find more valuable rankings on Google.

The month of January has seen a fantastic start to the year! We have seen the website traffic pick up drastically after a slower Christmas period. We can now see 40 out of the total 93 website visits coming from organic (SEO) search results. The rankings themselves are continuing to fluctuate and we have seen an increase in keywords now appearing on the first page of results. We have seen an increase in the number of top 3 positions, from 3 at the start of the month to 11 by the end of the month. Over the coming month, we will be focusing on the on-page strategy to make some further optimisations for the Wollongong keywords, in particular ‘plumber Wollongong’, in order to push these keywords closer to first page rankings.
