Following the re-activation of the SEO campaign, the site has seen some overall positive results in February! User visits did decline marginally since the previous month, going down 4.0%, but over half of them still arrived through organic (SEO) channels. The trend of website traffic throughout the month saw some fluctuations, but remained fairly high overall and saw a promising upturn in the last week which is promising for the month of March. With the new strategies we will implement next month, we hope to build on this and boost traffic to the site. In terms of SEO performance, we saw favourable improvement, with a 4.6% rise in the site’s average rank. Our keyword performance has also shown potential, with a 12.5% increase in the number of keywords ranking within the top 3 spots of search results — 9 in total, with 2 holding the #1 spot. We also have a further 19 keywords in the top 4 to 10 spots. This coming month of March, we will begin on-page optimisations and create content for the new keywords like ‘security locks’ keywords so they can begin ranking on Google’s search results.
