Rapid Locksmiths – May 2021 Monthly Report

May brings more ups and downs in both website and SEO performance. We’ve recovered the traffic from last month, with a marginal but welcome 0.5% increase in user visits to the site. The overall trend again fluctuated, but with an upward course towards the end that is promising. An overwhelming majority of our users continue to arrive via organic (SEO) searches, a very favourable sight. SEO performance saw some setbacks, with a 15.7% decrease in the site’s average rank, however we managed to sustain our 27 keywords in the top 3 spots, though, as well as the 14 keywords in the #1 position! There is one further keyword in the top 4 to 10 spots as well, which has us optimistic. The ‘locksmith Mitcham’ target keyword saw particularly good progress, jumping fifteen spots from 28th to 13th (second page of search results). In June, we will continue our on-page optimisations so we can see similar progress in other keywords and further recover site performance.

  • 27 keywords ranking in top 3 (first page) results
  • 21 keywords ranking in top 4-10 (first page) results
  • Keyword ‘locksmith ringwood’ ranking in 8th position (first page)
  • Keyword ‘automotive locksmith ringwood’ ranking in 1st position (first page)
  • Keyword ‘locksmith Blackburn’ ranking in 3rd position (first page)
  • Keyword ‘security locks Blackburn’ ranking in 7th position (first page)
  • Keyword ‘locksmith Balwyn’ ranking in 14th position (second page)
  • In May, we focused on the on-page optimisation for the keyword ‘locksmith Mitcham’ which is now ranking in 13th position (second page), up from 28th position in the previous month.
  • Through the month of June, on-page optimisations will continue to push the keyword ‘locksmith Camberwell’ from its current 25th ranking, closer to the first page of search results.
