Rapid Locksmiths – September 2021 Monthly Report

The month of September brought mixed but still positive results for our campaign. Site traffic did take a dip, with a 29.7% decrease in user visits, but the overall trend saw several peaks. We also noted that half the users arrived through organic (SEO) channels, with almost all of them new. The average session duration also increased by a very favourable 193.7%, which means our content is highly relevant to our audience. SEO performance, on the other hand, saw another fantastic increase in the site’s average rank, this time by 9.7%! We did lose some keywords from the #1 spot in search results, but still see a significant number of target keywords on the first page of Google. In September, we focused on on-page strategies around the ‘locksmith Templestowe’ target keyword, which now ranks 9th on Google’s first page of search results – very pleasing. In October, our on-page strategies will now focus on the ‘mobile locksmith Mitcham’ target keyword so we can move it higher up the rankings.

  • In September, we completed on-page optimisation with a focus on the keyword ‘locksmith Templestowe’ which is presently ranking in the 9th position (first page). The keyword is part of the list of services and suburbs the client wanted for us to focus on.
  • Through the month of October, on-page optimisation will focus on the keyword ‘mobile locksmith Mitcham’ to bring its ranking closer into the first page of search results.

    August saw more favourable results from the campaign, which is very welcome. Site traffic remains unchanged, and a significant number of users again arrived through organic (SEO) channels. The overall traffic trend fluctuated, but had several peaks, particularly near the end of the month. SEO performance also produced pleasing results, as the site saw a 3.5% increase in average rank. We’ve sustained a number of keywords in the top 3 spots, and now have 9 keywords holding the #1 position — three more than last month! There are a further 23 keywords in the top 4 to 10 spots, so a significant number remain on the first page of search results. September will see us focus on the ‘locksmith Mitcham’ target keyword, which currently ranks 16th. We’ll use on-page optimisations to boost its ranking to the top 10 spots on Google.
