Rapid Locksmiths – July 2021 Monthly Report

Results from July again saw a slight slowdown in terms of website performance. Site traffic again dropped, although by a smaller margin this time at just 7.1%. The overall trend saw several high points, however, and the end of the month had an upward course. Almost half our users arrived again through organic (SEO) searches, which is promising. More favourably, the site saw a very slight 0.1% increase in its average rank, a welcome recovery from last June. We also now have 6 keywords holding the #1 ranking, although some keywords dropped off the top 3 spots. Still, there are a further 21 keywords in the top 4 to 10 spots, so a significant number remain on Google’s first page. July saw us focus on the ‘locksmith Balwyn’ target keyword, which now ranks 36th, and we expect to see more movement in the coming weeks. This August, we will expand on-page optimisations to move the keyword ‘locksmith Burwood’ closer to the first page of search results.

  • In July, we focused on the on-page optimisation for the keyword ‘locksmith Balwyn’ which is now ranking in 36th position (fourth page). We expect to see improvements for this keyword in the coming weeks.
  • Through the month of August, on-page optimisations will continue to push the keyword ‘locksmith Burwood’ from its current 23rd position, closer to the first page of search results.

    June saw a slight slowdown in terms of website and SEO performance after last month’s small uptick, site traffic again dropped by 13.0%. Still, the site saw several high points in the overall trend, which is promising with over half the users also arrived through organic (SEO) searches. SEO performance also dropped slightly, with a 5.0% decrease in the site’s average rank. We also lost several keywords in the top 3 spots, although we still have 5 holding the #1 position! There are also a further 19 keywords in the top 4 to 10 spots, so a sizable number remain on the first page of search results. Following our on-page optimisations for the ‘locksmith Camberwell’ target keyword, we expect to see improvement in its ranking to the first page of search results. We will also expand on-page optimisations in July to see more keywords move to the first page of search results and in turn, we do expect to see the website traffic increase as well.
