Redbelly Landscapes – July 2022 Monthly Report

The month of July was somewhat challenging for the website and the SEO campaign. We did not see a continued rise in website traffic, although the trend saw several peaks. More promisingly, 47.6% of website users arrived through organic (SEO) channels and spent almost a minute on the site. In terms of SEO, we did see a very minor drop in the site’s average SEO rank by 0.8%, but we’ve sustained our keyword performance from last month. A majority of our keywords also remain on the first page of Google search results! In July, we switched to off-page strategies to boost search rankings and improve the way Google and users perceive our website’s authority. For August, we will focus on-page optimisations on the ‘decking Labrador’ keyword so it gains a solid ranking on Google.

  • In July, we focused on off-page optimisation strategy. Our goal was to boost ranking by improving how Google and users perceive the site’s authority, relevance, and trustworthiness.
  • Through the month of August,our plan is to focus our on-page optimisation on the keyword ‘decking Labrador’ as it has yet to gain a solid ranking. Our aim is to bring it closer to the first page of Google search results.

    June was a month of very favourable results across the board for the campaign! We saw a 23.2% rise in site traffic, with a notable peak of 47 users on the site in a single day. Of the total users on the site, 40.8% of them arrived through organic (SEO) channels. They also spent well over a minute on the website, which shows our content is relevant to their searches. For SEO performance, we saw a larger 15.6% rise in the site’s average SEO rank, which now sits at 5.3 overall. We also have more keywords now in the top 3 spots of Google search results, and other keyword performance has been steady. June saw us focus our on-page optimisations on the ‘decking Carrara’ keyword, which is presently unranked. We expect it to improve in organic search ranking in the coming weeks. In July, we will shift to off-page strategies to boost the organic search rankings of our target keywords.
