The month of February sees mixed results for user website traffic and SEO rankings. There was a slight dip in site traffic this month with a 2.4% decrease in the number of users visiting the site from 206 site visits last month to this month’s 201 site visits. Of the 201 users who visited the site, 107 users are from organic search results with 106 out of the 107 tagged as new users to the site. The 197.7% increase in average page loading time and dip in average time spent on the site are concerns worth looking into and we’ll be working on. We’re pleased to report wins for the SEO rankings this month as can be seen in the increase in the number of keywords in the top 4-10 positions and keyword ‘decking southport’ moving up to 9th position from last month’s 10th position. Worthy of note as well are keywords ‘landscapers oxenford’ and ‘landscaping robina’ retaining their strong rankings at 2nd position of first page results. There’s a slight decrease however in the number of keywords ranking in the top 3 positions from last month’s 38 keywords to this month’s 36 keywords and we see keyword ‘landscaping helensvale’ sliding down 2 notches to 4th position this month from last month’s 2nd position. On-page optimisations will be used through the month of March to boost the ranking of keyword ‘landscaping runaway bay’ closer to the first page of search results.

January’s stats on the SEO campaign are looking good as we start the year with a whopping 67.5% increase in user website traffic from last December’s 123 users to this month’s 206 users! A massive jump in user interest is reflected as well as the increase in organic traffic from last month’s 43 to this month’s 102 new organic users and a 135.7% increase in average time spent on the site. We’re pleased to report that there is an increase in the number of keywords found in the first page of search results this month, with 38 keywords ranking in the top 3 positions and 31 keywords ranking in the top 4-10 positions of first page results. The SEO campaign for January is going strong overall for the targeted keywords, with ‘landscapers oxenford’, ‘landscaping helensvale’, and ‘landscaping robina’ all enjoying an upward trend at 2nd position of first page results and ‘decking southport’ still on the first page of search results at 10th position. We will be completing off-page optimisation in February to see a boost in the ranking for ‘decking southport’ as there is significant search volume each month for the keyword that we can encourage to go through the website.
