Redbelly Landscapes – November 2022 Monthly Report

Manager

It’s been more challenging for the campaign this November. Website traffic slipped marginally, with the month starting strong (50 user peak) but falling off after that. It’s uncertain what caused this spike in traffic as that high number of visitors is outside the average for the rest of the month. Of the tracked site visits, organic search users accounted for 40.7% – 87 total (79 new). The website’s average SEO rank also slipped, although there are more keywords now in the top 3 spots of Google search results. November saw the campaign focus on off-page strategies to build links by creating and distributing press releases. This December, we will shift towards on-page optimisations on the moderately competitive ‘landscaping Molendinar’ keyword to take advantage of its month search volume.

October was positive overall for metrics across the board. Website traffic bounced back by 28.0%, there was a peak of 29 users on 09 October – much higher than the average trend over the month. Moreover, a similar percentage of users arrived through organic search channels as did the month prior, and they comprise over half of total user traffic. Regarding SEO, the website saw a 14.8% rise in the average SEO rank, a much higher margin than in September. Keyword performance has also been very steady, which is pleasing to see. In October, we focused on-page optimisations on the ‘landscapers Hope Island’ keyword, which currently ranks 4th – and we hope it moves closer to the #1 spot on Google search results.
