Roberts & Cowling – July Monthly Report
Manager
July has shown some fantastic numbers for SEO! While we have seen a dip in the overall website traffic, we did actually see an increase in the number of users coming to the site from organic search (Google Search results), with 107 total organic search users in June to 128 through July. Our SEO rankings have continued to see some large movements in both directions, however the movements we have seen towards the first page of results have obviously been more valuable as we have seen an increase in the organic website traffic! Over the last month we have been able to secure another editorial position which has contributed to the positive results we have seen this month. The month of July has seen some fluctuations across the board with some really positive movements towards better rankings. We can see 28 terms appearing in the top 10 results with 20 of those appearing in the top 3 results on Google’s first page! The terms ‘business advisor stafford’, ‘tax accountant windsor’ and ‘business advisor milton’ have jumped 96, 82 and 78 positions respectively over the last 30 days which has been a big win. We will continue with our off page strategy in order to see improvements like these continuing throughout August.
Roberts & Cowling – June Monthly Report
Manager
The month of June has been full of movements in both directions but has shown a positive month overall. We have seen the website traffic remain very similar with a slight increase over the last month. While the average session duration did drop this month, it has been positive to see the average page load time improve, however we will still be monitoring these both carefully. In terms of the rankings, we did see some large movements, however a small win for us this month was seeing the term ‘accountant brisbane’ improve its position by 7. We have been able to secure an editorial spot over the last month which has contributed to some of the months positive results. SEO Analysis
Following on from an outstanding result in May, the results for June show some large fluctuations in ranking positions in both the positive and the negative. The most significant change was for the key search term ‘business advisor salisbury’ which advanced 92 places to number 8. The total number of search terms appearing within the first page of Google results remained at 28, however of those, 18 remain within the top 3. The focus for the month of July will be to regain and retain top 3 positions and continuing to closely monitor any significant fluctuations while applying off-page strategies to improve and stabilise rankings.
