Scope Glass – July 2020 Monthly Report

The month of July has produced some ups and downs from the Google Ads campaign. The overall website traffic has seen a drop by 17.2%, however this is most likely attributed to the change in campaign strategy to call-only. Since seeing the data through July, we have reverted our strategy back to the text ad campaign which we’re confident will see a bounce back in the overall website traffic in the coming month. The call-only campaign has been successful in generating 9 conversions, however now using the text ad campaign again, we are confident that we will be able to achieve a higher number of conversions through August. We will continue to optimise the campaign through the coming month to ensure calls are coming only from within the service radius.

  • July has seen an interesting month of results from the Google Ads call only campaign. We have seen a drastic increase in the conversion rate which is very pleasing to see and a very noticeable decrease in cost per conversions. However, since changing the strategy to the call-only campaign, we have seen a drop in the total number of conversions and the CTR compared to what was achieved in the previous month. Since the start of August, we have now reverted our strategy back to the previous Text Ad campaign with some further changes and optimisations. Our plan for the month of August is to achieve a higher number of legitimate conversions and structure the campaign to achieve a better CTR. We are still facing some challenges in tracking conversions and are currently tracking these manually. We will be working to resolve this in the coming month.

    The month of June has seen some fantastic numbers from the Google Ads campaign. We have been able to achieve 17 conversions through the month with a fair cost per conversion. Typically when sending a new Google Ads campaign live, we start to see these results after about 3-4 weeks, however it has been very impressive to see this high standard of results straight out of the gate. We will be continuing to optimise this campaign through July to further drive down the cost per conversion and also increase the Click Through Rate (CTR). This could also lead us to achieve a higher number of conversions in the coming month!

    Google Ads Analysis

  • June has produced a very positive month of results for the Google Ads campaign. The campaign has generated 58 Clicks, 574 Impressions, 1 10.10% CTR, 17 conversions with a 29.31% conversion rate and $36.17 average cost per conversion.
  • The main highlight from the month is the high number of conversions the campaign achieved in just more than 1 month.
  • Our plan for the month of July is to structure the campaign to achieve a higher CTR as we are seeing good opportunities from the number of impressions.
