Southern Excavations – January 2021 Monthly Report

January has seen a welcome rise in traffic on the website, with a 78.8% increase in user visits. Approximately half the user visits were tracked from organic (SEO) searches, and all of them were new to the website, which is promising! Session duration has decreased slightly, so we hope to stabilise and improve site performance over the next month. SEO performance is mostly steady, with just a marginal 0.9 dip in average ranking. Keyword performance has also been stable, with 13 words now in the top 3 positions and six still holding the #1 spot. There are a further 10 keywords in the top 4 to 10 spots, so a large majority of the target keywords are in the first page of search results which is fantastic to see. This February, we will continue the off-page optimisations to boost the performance of the ‘bobcat hire lismore’ target keyword so it can return to the top 3 in search results.

  • Through February we will continue to utilise the off-page strategy to see the rankings for the keyword ‘bobcat hire lismore’ bounce back up to the top 3 positions
