We saw mixed results for website metrics and SEO performance in June. User traffic did not continue last month’s positive trend, instead dropping by 35.1%. We did see several peaks in the overall trend, however, with the highest single-day count for site visitors on 22 June – 6 users in total (4 new). More favourably, the site’s average SEO rank remains fairly high at 9.7, and we’ve sustained our keyword performance. 22 of our keywords remain on the first page of Google search results, which is pleasing to see. Following our June optimisations, the ‘retaining walls Eltham’ keyword now ranks 19th, up from its previous position of 33rd! In July, we will focus our strategies on the ‘earthmoving Lismore’ keyword since it has a high monthly search volume. We aim to recover its rank and bring it back to the top 10 spots.

  • Through the month of July, we plan to focus our on-page optimisation on the high-competition keyword ‘earthmoving Lismore’ as it has significant average monthly searches and has slipped in ranking lately. Our goal is to bring its ranking back into the first page of Google search results.
