Southern Excavations – May 2022 Monthly Report
Manager
May brought more favourable results for the campaign, although not without some setbacks. User traffic saw a welcome recovery, up 30.5% from last month. Average session duration also went up and is now over a minute. Of the total site visitors, 55.8% of them arrived through organic (SEO) channels, with all of them new to the website! In terms of SEO, however, we did see a small dip in the site’s average SEO rank, although it still remains fairly high at 9.1. We also lost a keyword from the first page of search results. The ‘retaining walls lismore’ keyword has gone up to 12th from its previous position of 18th. Meanwhile, we completed optimisations in May on the ‘excavation eltham’ keyword to boost its ranking back after it dropped from 10th to 14th. In June, we will focus on the ‘retaining walls eltham’ keyword which is fairly competitive. We aim to boost its ranking back to the top 10 spots.

Southern Excavations – April 2022 Monthly Report
Manager
The site experienced some setbacks in April, both in terms of user traffic and SEO performance. We had a small decline in user visits, down 7.8%, but there was a notable peak on 21 April. On the day, the site had 11 user visits in total, with all of them new! The site’s average SEO rank also dipped a little, by 3.5%, but it still remains high at 8.9 overall. We’ve sustained our keyword performance, with all but 6 keywords on the first page of Google search results! In April, we focused our optimisations on the ‘retaining walls lismore’ target keyword, which presently ranks 18th. We expect it to improve in rank in the coming weeks. Then in May, we will switch focus to the ‘excavation eltham’ target keyword which now ranks 10th. Our aim is to move its rank closer to the top 3 spots on Google.
