Southern Excavations – November 2021 Monthly Report
Manager
November saw some setbacks to the campaign, although there were reasons for optimism. User traffic again dipped, but this time by a lower margin of just 3.3%. Average sessions, on the other hand, increased by 18.7%, and a significant majority of our users arrived through organic (SEO) channels – meaning our content is relevant to user searches. The site’s average SEO rank also dropped marginally by 4.0%, but a majority of our keywords remain on the first page of Google’s search results. Furthermore, we still have 12 keywords in the top 3 spots, with 4 holding the #1 rank. In December, we will focus our strategies on the ‘retaining walls brunswick heads’ target keyword to shift it closer to the #1 rank on Google.

Southern Excavations – October 2021 Monthly Report
Manager
October again saw mixed results for the campaign, but with several positives. The month did not continue September’s site traffic increase, instead dipping by 17.8%. We did see several high points, however, and the month ended on an upward note. Over half of users arrived through organic (SEO) channels, and again, all of them were new – a very favourable sight. The site’s average rank again dropped, although this time by a much smaller 1.5%. But the number of keywords in the top 3 spots increased – we have 11, with 4 of them holding the #1 spot. Almost all our keywords still remain on the first page of Google’s search results as well. October saw us focus our on-page optimisations on the ‘excavation eltham’ target keyword, which now ranks in 8th on Google’s first page. This coming month, we will focus on the ‘excavator lismore’ target keyword to push it towards the #1 spot.
