April saw some welcome recovery in website traffic, with a 4.6% increase in user visits. The overall trend again fluctuated, but saw several high points despite the dip mid-month. The site still sees a favourable majority of its users arrive through organic (SEO) channels, almost all of whom were new, which is very promising. SEO performance saw a slight setback after last month’s boost, with a minimal 8.6% dip in the average keyword ranking. We do have one more keyword in the top 3 spots though, with 13 this month (7 keywords securing the #1 rank). There are also a further 10 keywords in the top 4 to 10 spots, which means all but 2 of our keywords are on the first page of search results — very optimistic! Throughout May, we will be expanding our off-page efforts to boost the window cleaning keywords. We’d ideally like to see the Byron Bay keywords move closer to the #1 rank to further boost traffic.
